Sewing Adventure

Inspiration and help from my extraordinarily talented friend led me to create matching dresses for the girls. Although I took out many seams and had to redo a few sections, I was suprised and pleased at the final product. I was so excited about the outcome that I even made matching hairbows. Having little Caleb there to whimper and crawl around me throughout the process extended the total finish time considerably; I'll probably wait a while before attempting it again. ;)

SO cute! You did an awesome job! Is this your first time sewing? Amazing! I think I would be more motivated to learn if I had girls that I could sew for. :) The dresses are darling!

Cookies look delicious!!!! Thanks!!

Your creation for the girls looks great too! Lucky girls!! I remember well doing that for Debbie and Darci, and for Curtis and Beckie which lasted many years -- till they were in their late teen years.

Curtis got shirts and pants and coats not dresses by the way!!!

Love Grandma F.

Good job! They are so cute. I think it will be easier for you the next time since one sewing project can shake off all the rust so it goes much quicker the next time!

Great job on the dresses, Julianne! Wow...You are very talented! and the cookies look so yummy. Kooper and Jacoba want me to make them, so we'll give them a try. Thank you for sharing. I can't get over how tall the girls are getting, and Maddie Kate's hair is so long and even curly! Love you...Mom
