Snow day!

So this post is extremely overdue but I've been excited to share pictures of our recent SNOW shower in early December. The last time we had snow was on Christmas day five years ago and it was wonderful for our kids to experience a little bit of real winter. When we awoke the next day, the snow was still there so Brendan was thrilled to walk to school in it. Sadly, by the end of the school day every last snowflake had melted, but it was sure fun while it lasted.

Piano Recital

Here is Brendan at his first Suzuki piano recital. He was very focused and played two 2-hand pieces. He did such a wonderful job and received high marks from the judges. Afterward the players received a medal and cookies for refreshment. It was so fun to see him perform!

Date with Dad

In our annual Nutcracker tradition, Michael decided to take Audrey on a special daddy-daughter date to see the Houston Ballet perform The Nutcracker. Audrey absolutely LOVED dressing up and going downtown for the event. She still dances around the house pretending to be Clara.
